Our March meeting at the Park Restaurant was a success with a large turnout and lots of activity. The in-depth presentation given by Steve Sadowski on Barometers took you through their history from the Italian connection to the present. It was well attended, very informative and full of humor.
Note: this is the last issue of the meeting notice in which free ads will appear. They will resume with the November meeting notice and if you would like to advertise please contact me.

We are sorry to announce that Richard Taub has resigned as Vice President of Chapter 2.
Richard has been on our executive council for many years, has been a diligent worker and has been extremely instrumental to the success of this Chapter. We wish him well and hope he will continue as a member and attend our meetings.
Okay Folks, we are now in need of a Vice President, a 2nd Vice President and a Treasurer. SO, if no one steps up to fill these positions, we will be forced to eliminate what we all enjoy at our meetings. Without leadership and planning there would be no breakfast, no live speakers and fewer meetings which, in a very short time, would result in the closure of this Chapter. Not only are officers needed, we need volunteers to work behind the scenes. Anyone who attends meetings must realize what is involved – it doesn’t happen by itself. The more volunteers, the lighter the work load. My many thanks to those who have been volunteering and continue to do so. I am a phone call or e-mail away.
Our speaker at the next is meeting is Bill Clarke, a member of Chapter 2. He is Treasurer of Mid Hudson Chapter 84 and organizes the multi-Chapter Picnic in the Park. When you see Bill, thank him and let him know what a great job he does with the Picnic that we all enjoy. Bill’s presentation will be a first time talk about Time and the Computer.
Hope to see all of you at this meeting.
Regards,
Lu Sadowski
