The following information is supplied on the NAWCC organization and Cherokee Chapter 30 in particular. It is taken from a review of Bulletins and their dates from 1955 to the present. The first section comes from the small Bulletin (6” X 9”) published 5 times a year and later 6 times since April 1955.

"A group met at the Roland Hotel in Bristow, Oklahoma in a meeting arranged by Dr. H.R. Coats and his wife of Tyler, TX to form the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors – known as Cherokee Chapter #30 of the NAWCC."
