Self Winding Clock Co

Top pics are in my collection.

I have seen one similar on ebay, note that it has the second hand at the top.

Henry Weiland has a movement but I don't think he has a dial.

These are pretty uncommon.

Self Winding Clock Co Hairspring Mvmt

Unusual Self Winding Clock Co mvmt, 14 inch case.  Noter the red bulb protuding through the loop in the numeral 6 on the dial. Came from the Alemeda Air station 20 years ago.

two pictures below from an Ebay Auction 6501537375, Went for $860

These last five pictures are of a 120 beat movement for a two sided clock. Note the aluminum thingy that holds the take off wheel on the front is homemade. The original was lost. I have no mechanical skills but I bet a brass one would look better

Pictured below is a 60 beat Western union clock that came out of a station in Huron , So Dakota. The winding mech needs adjustment as it takes too long to wind!

And here we have an 80 beat. The hands are in the case.   For some reason, I have a hard time keeping this one in beat!  I know nothing about clock repair , thats why I belong to chapter 52 and let the guys adjust my clocks for me!

Standard metal case self winder for western union, approx 16 in circle.

And below is a standard 18 inch rectangular one!

Just below are two wooden cased 20 inch self winders.  One is in that gorgeous #29 carved case.  I think both of these have home made pendulums.  I have the correct bobs for these but need two sticks!
The hands are inside the #29 case.

This approx 16 in wood case has an electric movement running the hands.  It is supposed to have a slave movement for one of the master clocks but its long gone.

And the next two aren't self winding clock co but are Seth Thomas self winders,  they use the 86AF movement.
The dial is pretty bad on the first one.

I have a 60 beat Standard Electric master clock in the garage in one of those eyebrow cases and a really nice International master clock in  a pretty case .  Its the kind that winds the weights up every so often.

I also have a few extra 120 beat self winding movements, a couple empty metal cases, a dial or two and assorted spare parts.

Note telegraph keys on tables, switching equipment in left background, and wall clock marked "Self Winding Clock Company".
