The National Convention has been held in Chicago several times, the last being 1992. And the Chicagoland Chapter was one of the first chapters to sponsor "Field Suitcase Workshops" in 1994 and 1995.

Chicago is a world-class city and is a meeting point for many horology enthusiasts. Most major airlines serve our two major airports and with the central location of the city, it is an easy interstate drive from most of the midwest to our city. The Chapter hosts the Mid-West Regional, occurring in August of each year. The Mid-West Regional is a multi-day event with several chapters coming together to deliver a first-class meeting and mart venue The Chapter has one holiday social gathering in December of each year. All members are welcome to join in the festivities. |
